KENT D. WARKENTIN

Kent Warkentin is an educational leadership professional with over 30 years experience working in varying education sectors around the world. Kent is currently the President and Partner of "it" International Management Solutions, LLC (iIMS). Previously, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Niagara Christian Community of Schools in Fort Erie, Ontario. Kent has earned a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and Educational Leadership. As well, he is a PhD candidate at the University of Buffalo in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy and is concentrating his dissertation writing on comparative and global education studies.

Over the course of Kent's collective career, he has assisted various schools quadruple enrolments, facilitated new curricular programs, facilitated school expansions and divisions, raised more than 6 million dollars in capital monies, assisted with several school enhancement projects, diversified several student bodies to include more than eighteen countries, and re-structured several school governance models. With an academic background in psychology, educational leadership and business administration, Kent has been able to apply these disciplines to achieve successful results.

Internationally, Kent has extensive experience and a track record of success in strategic planning, strategic initiatives, leadership development, and partnership acquisition. Initiatives in Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, Brazil, Bahamas, and Mexico have all been very successful and have translated into sustainable programs. Kent has also been the keynote speaker and seminar leader in educational conferences, symposiums, and forums in Canada, Brazil, the United States, Angola, Hong Kong, and throughout China.

Kent is an active member of his local and global communities serving on several international Boards while volunteering for local government initiatives and non-profit organizations. He resides in Ridgeway, Ontario, Canada with his wife Cindy and children Tori and Brett. Kent is a life-long learner who embraces and loves life, his family, his career, and believes that relationships with people are at the very core root of success and community-enhancement.
